Trouble Pilgrims new single '21st Century Girl' out on July 16th on FIFA Records

‘21st Century Girl’ is the first single to be taken from the highly anticipated 2^nd album ‘Blood, Glass and Gasoline’ from Trouble Pilgrims. The song focuses on the highly relevant and importance of total respect for women by men and the acceptance of interchangeable roles within any relationship. 

21^st Century Girl is the perfect lead into the forthcoming long player which was recorded in September 2020 at Hellfire Studios and completed during the COVID lockdown at Pete Holidai's newly constructed Pilgrim Sound studio.

Formed in 2013 with the intention of continuing the legacy of The Radiators from Space but with a main focus on recording and performing brand new material the band have certainly lived up to that mantra. To date Trouble Pilgrims have released two singles, the much-lauded double A side debut of Animal Gang Blues c/w Who Do You Love?  Which was followed in 2015 by Instant Polaroid (The Man on The Bridge). The band recorded their debut album over the summer of 2017 and the resulting work ‘Dark Shadows and Rust’ received its worldwide release to widespread acclaim on Chiswick Records via Ace on 27th October 2017 with a limited edition 180g red vinyl version released in January 2018.

On the live front the band have been prolific and have developed a reputation for delivering tight and exciting live shows which have included high profile special guest appearances with The Boomtown Rats and The Undertones amongst others.

The band's self-financed and produced 'TV Special' an hour-long ‘Dark Shadows and Rust: Live In The Studio’ was screened at the IFI Cinema on Thursday 21st March 2019 is now available for viewing on YouTube.

The first single from the forthcoming album 21st Century Girl is out on 16th July 2021 on FIFA records with the album to follow.

Το "21st Century Girl" είναι το πρώτο single που έχει ληφθεί από το πολυαναμενόμενο 2ο άλμπουμ "Blood, Glass and Gasoline" από τους Trouble Pilgrims. Το τραγούδι επικεντρώνεται στην άκρως σχετική σημασία του απόλυτου σεβασμού για τις γυναίκες από τους άνδρες και στην αποδοχή εναλλάξιμων ρόλων σε οποιαδήποτε σχέση.

Το 21st Century Girl είναι το τέλειο προβάδισμα στον επερχόμενο δίσκο που ηχογραφήθηκε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2020 στο Hellfire Studios και ολοκληρώθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια του κλειδώματος COVID στο νεόκτιστο στούντιο Pilgrim Sound του Pete Holidai.

Σχηματίστηκε το 2013 με σκοπό να συνεχίσει την κληρονομιά των The Radiators από το Space, αλλά με κύριο επίκεντρο την ηχογράφηση και την εκτέλεση ολοκαίνουργιου υλικού, το συγκρότημα σίγουρα έζησε αυτό το μάντρα. Μέχρι σήμερα, οι Trouble Pilgrims έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δύο single, το ντεμπούτο του Double A side του Animal Gang Blues c / w Who Do You Love; Το οποίο ακολούθησε το 2015 από το Instant Polaroid (The Man on The Bridge). Το συγκρότημα ηχογράφησε το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του το καλοκαίρι του 2017 και το αποτέλεσμα της δουλειάς «Dark Shadows and Rust» έλαβε την παγκόσμια κυκλοφορία του για ευρεία αναγνώριση στο Chiswick Records μέσω Ace στις 27 Οκτωβρίου 2017 με περιορισμένη έκδοση 180g κόκκινη βινυλική έκδοση που κυκλοφόρησε τον Ιανουάριο του 2018.

Στο ζωντανό μέτωπο, το συγκρότημα ήταν παραγωγικό και έχει αναπτύξει τη φήμη του για την παράδοση σφιχτών και συναρπαστικών ζωντανών εκπομπών που έχουν συμπεριλάβει υψηλού προφίλ ειδικές εμφανίσεις με τους The Boomtown Rats και τους Undertones.

Η αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενη και παραγόμενη «Ειδική Τηλεόραση» της μπάντας μια ώρα «Dark Shadows and Rust: Live In The Studio» προβλήθηκε στο IFI Cinema την Πέμπτη 21 Μαρτίου 2019 και είναι πλέον διαθέσιμη για προβολή στο YouTube.

Το πρώτο single από το επερχόμενο άλμπουμ 21st Century Girl θα κυκλοφορίσει στις 16 Ιουλίου 2021 από την FIFA με το άλμπουμ που θα ακολουθήσει.
