One Morning in August new single 'Lovers By Surprise' out on June 18th on FIFA Records
Following on from last year’s critically acclaimed self-titled debut album and their much lauded single 'Get it Right' from earlier this year, One Morning In August return with their brilliant new single ‘Lovers By Surprise’ which will be released on the 18th of June.
The Southeast of Ireland based outfit once again teamed up with producer David Ayers for their latest release and were also joined by guest vocalist Claire Cummins. ‘Lovers by Surprise’ is the bands second offering since joining forces with Cork independent label FIFA Records and is the perfect example of how the band’s sound is evolving and why they have been hotly tipped by so many. Theirs is a sound that channels heart felt visceral hooks with beautiful layered melodies and harmonies so there is little wonder why their David Ayers produced eponymous debut album was received with such widespread critical acclaim.
The single will initially be released as a Bandcamp exclusive on June 18th. Their eponymous debut album will also be re-issued on limited edition CD by FIFA Records on June 11th and it is available to order now via Bandcamp.
The band are currently in the process of recording their second album again with David Ayers once again at the controls.
Ακολουθώντας το περυσινό άλμπουμ και το πολυβραβευμένο τους single «Get It Right» από νωρίτερα φέτος, οι One Morning in August επιστρέφουν με το λαμπρό νέο τους single «Lovers By Surprise» που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 18 Ιούνιου.
Το συγκρότημα της Νοτιοανατολικής Ιρλανδίας συνεργάστηκε για άλλη μια φορά με τον παραγωγό David Ayers για την τελευταία τους κυκλοφορία και ενώθηκε επίσης από την καλεσμένη τραγουδίστρια Claire Cummins. Το «Lovers by Surprise» είναι η δεύτερη προσφορά του συγκροτήματος από τότε που ενώσε τις δυνάμεις του με την ανεξάρτητη ετικέτα Cork FIFA Records και είναι το τέλειο παράδειγμα για τον τρόπο με τον οποίο εξελίσσεται ο ήχος της μπάντας και γιατί έχουν πολλές συμβουλές από πολλούς. Το δικό τους είναι ένας ήχος που διοχετεύει στην καρδιά όμορφες μελωδίες και αρμονίες, οπότε δεν υπάρχει αμφιβολία γιατί το ντεμπούτο τους άλμπουμ του David Ayers έτυχε με τόσο μεγάλη κριτική.
Το single θα κυκλοφορήσει αρχικά ως αποκλειστικό Bandcamp στις 18 Ιουνίου. Το επώνυμο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους θα εκδοθεί εκ νέου σε CD περιορισμένης έκδοσης από τη FIFA Records στις 11 Ιουνίου και είναι διαθέσιμο για παραγγελία τώρα μέσω Bandcamp.
Το συγκρότημα βρίσκεται στη διαδικασία ηχογράφησης του δεύτερου άλμπουμ του ξανά με τον David Ayers στα χειριστήρια.
