‚Baby, you’re trouble‘: Internet Baby from Hamburg are bringing the raw power of funk bank onto the stage.

Beer instead of Kir Royal, Jeans instead of Flares, distorted amplifiers instead of finely tuned blues guitars: Internet Baby are keeping themselves busy by recycling Funk, brushing off decades of dust while at the same time cranking up the volume. The result is a groovy summer soundtrack, throwing many things in life off rhythm.

Frontman Finn Barth and his younger brother, drummer Lasse, have been making music together since they have been able to pick up a pick and a drumstick. Together, the brothers continuously create catchy indie pop numbers like on an assembly line.

They combine groovy elements of Disco, Funk and Jazz with raw alternative rock and ecstatic electronic music.

Internet Baby are just as aware of these contradictions, as they are indifferent about them. The brothers are lending a face to the conflicts of a generation, craving a wing chair and a glass of wine, while constantly relapsing to a beer to-go – a desire for consistency in a world of rapid changes.

Style-wise, they could be compared to classics such as Chic and Parcels, but also to the Arctic Monkeys and Daft Punk.

Next to musical experiments, the group also brings a fashionable bravery to the stage. Following the motto “earth used to be a disco ball“, they merge their retro sounds with loud, futuristic outfits.

"Μωρό, έχετε πρόβλημα": Οι Internet Baby από το Αμβούργο φέρνει την ακατέργαστη δύναμη του funk bank στη σκηνή.

Μπύρα αντί για Kir Royal, τζιν αντί για φλόγες, παραμορφωμένοι ενισχυτές αντί για βελτιωμένες κιθάρες μπλουζ: Το Internet Baby διατηρεί τον εαυτό του απασχολημένο ανακυκλώνοντας το Funk, καθαρίζοντας δεκαετίες σκόνης ενώ ταυτόχρονα αυξάνει την ένταση.
